Tools · Man · Ren 人
The instruments of Man — each one chosen by the element of the job it does.
Tools are Man’s half of the work. Heaven sets the timing, Earth sets the place, and the hand that picks up the tool decides what actually happens. Each tool carries the character of its element — Metal for edge, Earth for containment, Wood for leverage, Water for flow, Fire for heat — so choosing well starts with naming what the job really is.
The pages below are the maps. Start with the matrix when you are choosing a tool; the guides show the same principles doing real work on land and bench.
